We have no puppies for sale at the present time. Callie
will be bred on her next season with puppies available
in April-May 2009. The stud has yet to be determined,
and will be announced at a later date. If you are
interested in either a show or pet puppy from this
litter,
contact us.
The goals of this breeding will be (1) Preserve
Callie’s beautiful breed type, (2) Produce dogs who can
win in both specialty and all-breed rings, (3) Continue
research on temperament testing and personality style.
Meanwhile, enjoy the slide shows below.
The RiverRock Puppy Garden

Click the link above to see how puppies are born, raised,
socialized, and placed at RiverRock. The puppies
are from two litters. Stoneway’s Venus of Woodside is
the dam of both litters. The sires are CH Kenlyn’s
Aries v HiCliff and CH Marquis’ Stealing the Show.
As a professor of educational psychology, I am very
interested in promoting high achievement in people,
organizations, and dogs. All puppies receive early
neurological stimulation, using the same methods
employed by the U.S. Department of Defense. See the
article entitled “Developing High Achievers” on
Dr. Carmen Battaglia’s site.
Early socialization and exposure to safe, diverse
environments helps puppies develop into exceptional
performers and companions. Temperament testing at 8
weeks (The Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test), along with
careful screening of puppy buyers, insures placement of
puppies in compatible homes.
The Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test

My work with the
The Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test
is supported by the Psychology Department at St. Cloud
State University. This slide show contains pictures of
my research assistants conducting a few of the exercises
on the test. If you would like to see the test,
